Getting help when you are stuck
If something is not working or you do not understand a feature, here is how to get unstuck.
In-app help
Click the help button on any page. The help center has step-by-step articles for every major feature, written for users who have never used a federal contracting platform before.
For anything the help center does not answer, email support@rfihawk.io. Include: - What you were trying to do - What happened (or what did not happen) - A screenshot if you can
We read every email. Most replies come within one business day.
Your PTAC or APEX Accelerator counselor
If you came to RFI Hawk through a PTAC or APEX Accelerator office, your counselor can walk you through the platform with you. The counselor is a federally funded resource at no cost to you. Their goal is for you to win contracts.
What to include in a support request
The faster we can fix your issue, the more useful these details are: - What page you were on (URL or screen name) - What time it happened (your timezone is fine) - What you clicked or typed - What you expected versus what you got - Browser and device (Chrome on Windows, Safari on iPhone, etc.)
What if I think there is a bug?
Email support@rfihawk.io with the subject "Bug:" followed by a one-line summary. The team reads bug reports daily and the engineers usually fix the underlying issue rather than only patch the surface.
What if I have a feature request?
Reply to any of our emails or email support@rfihawk.io. We track every feature request. We do not promise every request gets built, but we read all of them and use them to plan.
What if I am stuck mid-deadline?
If you have a federal proposal deadline tonight and the platform is failing you: 1. Email support@rfihawk.io with "DEADLINE" in the subject and the time of your deadline. 2. Save your draft locally as a backup (export to Word). 3. We will respond within an hour during business days.
