Troubleshooting login problems

This article covers the most common login issues and how to fix them.

I forgot my password

  1. Go to the login page.
  2. Click Forgot password.
  3. Enter your email. Click Send me a reset link.
  4. Check your inbox. The email arrives in about a minute.
  5. Click the link in the email. Set your new password.

The reset link works for 60 minutes. If it expires, request a new one.

If you do not see the email after five minutes, check your spam folder.

My password is not working

If you are sure the password is right but it is not working: 1. Confirm caps lock is off. 2. Try the password in a plain text editor first to confirm there are no hidden characters. 3. If you have changed your password recently, make sure you are using the new one. 4. If still failing, reset your password using Forgot password.

I am not getting the two-factor code

The two-factor code refreshes every 30 seconds. If it is not working: 1. Check that your authenticator app is set to the same time as your phone. 2. Wait for the next code (the bar in the app shows when it refreshes). 3. If still failing, click Use Backup Code on the login page. Backup codes are one-time use; you generated them when you set up two-factor authentication.

My account is locked

After many failed login attempts in a short time, the account is briefly locked for safety. The lock clears automatically in 15 minutes.

If your account is permanently disabled, that is different. Email support@rfihawk.io and we will help.

I do not have access to the email on my account

If you cannot get into the email on your account, you cannot reset your password yourself. Email support@rfihawk.io from another email address you control. Include your full name, your business name, and any account details. The team will verify and help.
