Getting started: your first opportunity match
This article walks you from a new RFI Hawk account to your first matched federal opportunity in about ten minutes.
Steps
-
Log in to RFI Hawk. If you are new, click Start Free on the homepage and create your account.
-
The onboarding wizard opens automatically. Click Get Started.
-
On Step 2, fill in your business name, what your business does, your NAICS codes (if you do not know them, type a description and the system will suggest them), how many people work there, and your state.

-
On Step 3, add five to ten keywords. Keywords are phrases you would type into a search bar if you were looking for opportunities yourself. Examples: "data center", "logistics support", "machine learning".
-
On Step 4, you will see your first three matched opportunities. For each, click Save to my watchlist if you want to come back to it.
-
Click View My Dashboard. You are done.
What to do if it does not work
If no matches appear in Step 4, your profile is too narrow. Click "Edit my profile" and add three more keywords, then come back. Most users see matches within 30 seconds of widening their keywords.
If you get an error during onboarding, take a screenshot and email support@rfihawk.io.
