Understanding your bill and changing plans
This article explains how RFI Hawk bills you, how tokens work, and how to change your plan.
How billing works
Your plan is billed monthly or annually. The plan price covers a tier of features and a monthly token allowance. Tokens are how RFI Hawk charges for AI work. Annual plans cost ten months' price for twelve months.
A token is roughly four characters of text. Drafting a typical proposal section uses about 5,000 tokens. Your plan refills tokens at the start of every billing month. Unused monthly tokens roll over for up to two billing cycles, up to 1.5 times your monthly allowance.
Monthly allowances: Starter 500,000 tokens, Pro 2,000,000 tokens, Team 5,000,000 tokens shared across the team. The Free plan has no monthly allowance and includes a one-time 25,000 token trial credit.
Steps

From the dashboard, click Settings, then Billing and Plan.

The page shows:
- Your current plan
- Your tokens remaining this month
- Your next billing date
- Your card on file
- Your invoices

To change your plan, click Change Plan. Pick the new tier. The change takes effect immediately. We pro-rate the difference.

To buy a token pack (if you run out before refill), click Buy Tokens. Pick a pack. Token packs cost $5.99 to $14.99 per 100,000 tokens depending on your plan. Purchased token packs are valid for 90 days from purchase and are used after your monthly allowance.

To update your card, click Update Payment Method.
What to do if it does not work
If a charge fails, your features stay active for a grace period. Update your card from the billing page. If you cannot update before the grace period ends, your account drops to the free tier (your data is safe).
If you are charged and you should not have been, reply to your most recent receipt email and we will fix it.
