Running a compliance check

A compliance check flags the FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) and DFARS (Defense FAR Supplement) clauses in our clause library that apply to a contract and flags gaps in your response. This article shows you how to run one.

Steps

  1. Open any opportunity from your watchlist.

  2. Click Compliance.

  3. The system has already run a first pass and listed every clause that applies based on the contract type, dollar value, and set-aside.

  1. For each clause, click into it to read a plain-English explanation.

  2. The compliance check shows you:

  3. Clauses that always apply
  4. Clauses that may apply (with conditions)
  5. Clauses you are likely missing in your response

  6. Once you have a proposal draft, click Match To My Draft. The system finds where each requirement is answered (or flags it as unanswered).

What to do if it does not work

If a clause looks wrong, click Mark As Wrong and the system will note your feedback. The compliance engine improves from these reports.

If a clause is missing, click Add Clause and paste the FAR or DFARS section number. The system will pull the clause text and add it to your check.
