Solicitation description
This contract is sole source to GE Aviation Systems LLC, dba Dowty Propellers. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) as implemented by is RFO 6-103-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will satisfy Agency Requirements, and 10 USC 3204(a)(4) as implemented by RFO 6.103-4, International Agreement. This is a Firm Fixed Price Requirements Indefinite Delivery Contract (IDC) for the C-130 R-391 Propeller Assembly and Component Spares for the United States Air Force (USAF) and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) for a period of three (3) years; a one -year Basic and two (2) one-year Options (in accordance with RFO 52.217-9, Option to Extend the Term of the Contract). This effort requires the procurement and management of the propellers, subsystems, and components to support operational readiness of the C-130J aircraft. The contract was awarded on 25 Sep 2026 with a Total Estimated Contract Value of $199,685,216.06
