Solicitation description

The purpose of this amendment 1 is to answer questions, revise SOW, and extend RFQ close date and time. 1. Was the August 19 site visit mandatory for quotation eligibility, and may a vendor that did not attend still submit a responsive quotation? A. No site visit scheduled, Not applicable. 2. The solicitation states that a distributor must provide a signed manufacturer authorization/distribution letter dated 2025 or earlier. Is that wording correct, or will a current 2026 manufacturer authorization letter be accepted? A. Corrected SOW to reflect Dated 2025 or later for each manufacturer authorization distributor letter. This solicitation is for the purchase/install/deinstall/training/assembly of three new commercial heavy duty kitchen equipment solutions: dishware system, soiled slat system, and waste collector system for 180 day fully installed and fully operational at Martinsburg VA Medical Center. This solicitation is 100% small business set aside. NAICS is 333241 and PSC is 7320. All quoters shall submit a completed SF1449 to the email address in the Combined Synopsis Solicitation. The Government will formulate its offer from the information submitted. Quoters are allowed to submit more than one quote to the solicitation. This solicitation closes on 36C24526Q0685 Sep 1, 2026, at 12:00pm EST. Late submissions will not be accepted.
