Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for Commercial Services Solicitation Number: 52000PR260026726 (Request For Quote - RFQ) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services, prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the latest Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC). It is anticipated that a competitive, firm-fixed-price purchase order shall be awarded as a result of this synopsis/solicitation. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which if timely received, shall be considered by this agency. Statement of Work (SOW) Special Studies for USCG Expert Seakeeping, Structural Analysis, and Air Ship Integration Support 1. Introduction The US Coast Guard (USCG) Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC) Engineering Services Division (ESD) supports the fleet in seakeeping and structural analyses requiring risk-based assessments to support engineering, operational and maintenance decisions. The objective of this Statement of Work (SOW) is to provide consulting and historical knowledge transfer to SFLC naval architects on previously developed USCG risk-based seakeeping methodologies, Hull Structural Monitoring System (HSMS) fleet data-processing models, and USCG Air-Ship Integration and Aviation Certification (AVCERT) processes.
